I have NEVER played that game; I don't trust it. Buying and selling stocks/bonds just isn't tangible enough for me. I concern myself with other types of financial creatures----those that I can affect and control far more than some distant company. I gravitate toward things that have intrinsic value like real property, birds and boats.

I heard a lot of people give their opinion on what happened yesterday and I honestly don't know what to believe any more.

How many times in the past 30 years have we asked, "Can it get any worse?" Only to find out, yes it can. That's why I've retired from partisan debate for the most part. I hide in the ivory tower of academia and report my unbias findings. It's the only way I've found to stay marginally sane amongst this sea of fools.

I only trust financial creatures that have **INTRINSIC** value, that way if something catastrophic goes down I should still have some kind of means.
