"SYDNEY, Australia - The racial unrest that broke out in Sydney’s beachside suburbs over the weekend has spread to two other large Australian cities, where people of Middle Eastern descent were assaulted by whites, police said Tuesday."

If you are going to start a post at least get the full facts first.

The unrest was started 2 weekends ago because 2 innocent lifesavers on a Sydney beach were bashed and injured badly by a gang of middle eastern appearance.

This promted a "text" message sent by Surfie's that frequent that beach to "protect' their beach and lifesavers.

Now it has turned into something bigger with reported white supremist groups going to the beach on a patrol which is where the police have come in.

Now there has been unrest for the last two nights with youth from both sides meeting at Cronulla Beach for a showdown.

It is shocking for us to witness this as usually Cronulla is a family friendly beach.

The police are dealing with the issue and hopefully the situation will be diffused quickly.

You will also notice that the grave milestone of 40,000 torched cars that happened in France will not be reached in these riots down under.

A race other then white DID cause the unrest???

I do not like violence in the streets and think both sides are in the wrong to take the law into their own hands.

    Gang rapist blames culture
    By Kim Arlington
    09dec05

A CONVICTED gang rapist has told a Sydney court he sexually assaulted a 14-year-old girl because he thought she was promiscuous and "had no right to say no".

The 27-year-old, identified only as MSK, said voices had commanded him to rape the girl, but also blamed cultural differences for the attack.

MSK, convicted of raping two girls aged 13 and 14, faced sentencing submissions today before NSW Supreme Court Justice Peter Hidden.

He is already serving a 22-year jail term for leading his three younger brothers in the gang rape of two more girls, aged 16 and 17.

All four attacks took place at the brothers' Ashfield home, in Sydney's inner-west, in June and July 2002.

The court was told the first rape, that of a 14-year-old girl known as T, took place four days after MSK arrived from Pakistan.

MSK took an oath on the Koran before telling the court his cultural background was partly to blame for his crimes

The policy of allowing mass muslim immigration into the west is screaming at you on an almost daily basis.

From Sweden, to the Netherlands, Britain, France, Belgium, Denmark, Norway and now Australia.

The name of the towns may differ, but the results are the same. Violent hostility to the host country, epidemics of rapes, gang assaults against anyone non muslim, anti-social behaviour of every description, the setting up of virtual no go areas, and the ceaseless demands for special privileges and exemptions.

France got to see this up close and personal as they reached the grim milestone of 40,000 burned cars.

All this is carried out while governments and the liberal main stream media do their best to whitewash the situation they are entirely responsible for.

However to be fair that story you quoted above really had nothing to do with this past week and the trouble at the beach.
The offender was originally sentanced to a 55 year jail term which has since been reduced do to an appeal.

Irishfan, I'm sure your friends at home are all ok.
I think it had somewhat been out of proportion in the media as when I watched the news yesterday on all channels including skynews it was story number 4 behind talks of the cross city tunnel!!
    That's not massive number 1 story!~

Have a nice Christmas in Ireland!

Also a church had it's windows smashed in Sydney's south.

That was the entire bulletin...no mention of riots or anything like that!
