Even if she read the book, she'd still be ignorant.

    Bush is a dry drunk.

    Drunks rarely tell the truth.

Somehow, being this is Bush we're talking about, I'm not the least bit surprised he would steal other kids' homework rather than bother doing his own.

But Donny, why would you recommend a plagiarized book?

    OK. A couple of things.

That's why there's public libraries, so you can read someone's point of view without directly contributing to their profiting from their actions which you've spent 8 years opposed to.

Please notice that barboy's wife "eagerly went out and bought" the book. She did not "eagerly plead with me to let her buy the book". Phrases like "don't let her" and "keep her ignorant" sound more than a little out of date, assuming you don't live in a neighborhood with child brides and honor killings.

Only if you have a severe bias towards wanting it to look like that.

So far, he's done anything but that. He's taken an economy that was hemorrhaging 700,000 jobs a month (a month!) when he took over, very quickly reversed the job losses, and now we've had 10 straight months of job growth. It's modest growth to be sure and not fast enough for anyone's liking, but it takes someone with ideological blinders on to think the economy is worse now than it was in late 2008.

I think it's too early to say the economy isn't worse (or better or the same). We don't know how much is being hidden from view, behind, semi-positive job reports. The health of the economy is much more than who is and isn't employed at the moment.

What big business and big finance are allowed to do between 2009-2012 is going to be on Obama's watch, and he will take blame if things take another dark turn.
