It also mentions Christmas Wishes, which runs concurrently during a part of that period, from Nov 7 to Dec 25. It occurred to me when reading that that if the Halloween event was going to take place in TDS during the 10th, it would have been mentioned as well. And, looking at the official website on the Resort Event Calendar, it indeed shows Halloween only at TDL this year.

I have no idea why the Summer show was canceled. Maybe someone with insider knowledge like leemac could offer further details. Taking a guess I would say Halloween was canceled, so it would not clash with the start of the kick off for the 10th Anniversary.

While I am glad to see them continue with the 10th Anniversary Be Magical Event. I feel its a big mistake to cancel Halloween in its favour. The Anniversary Event has lost all momentum now its already debuted Fantasmic, A Table is Waiting, Greeting Trail's. The Flying Carpets will open next month and merchandise and food items are already starting to be introduced. Is a few decorations and a new Greeting Show going to be enough to get people excited to visit. The cancelation of Halloween is part of the reason I've decided to move back my Tokyo trip to November. Most of what I'm looking forward to seeing from the Be Magical Event will still be around and I get to enjoy the Christmas stuff. Another problem unless OLC are planning to make changes is that Tokyo Disneyland's Halloween Parade is keeping last years theme. Are people visiting this year really going to be that excited to see a Character Greeting show at TDS and last years TDL Parade?
