    Didn't Goofy, Donald and a few others do commercials for a car about 10-15 years ago? I think it was the Lumina, but I don't remember Mickey in the ads.

    So the cartoon shilling is hardly unilateral.

    But the movie was a disappointment... I agree with the review pretty much.

    If you're refering to the big red hairy monster with the sneakers, I believe his name was Gossemer.

    Yes, that's him. Didn't know he had a name, I had a Beanie Baby of him at the tag said "Big Hairy Monster".

    Best Bugs Bunny line (in drag as a manicurist): "I think monsters are the most inTEResting people ... "

    I wasn't aware of the Lumina commercial, thanks for the info. If anything, I believe the Warner characters have been more rampant in their commercialization.
