Apparently a liberal blogger who likes to heckle Republican candidates was wrestled to the ground by some people who work for George Allen. The blogger did nothing physical, but they got physical with him. Allen later blamed his opponent, Jim Webb, who said he had no idea what happened nor did he know anyone involved.

Good thing Kerry didn't make his joke with these people around. Sheesh.

Off the record I wouldn't mind seeing a few more political wags and bloggers from both sides be wrestled to the ground.

Screw voting, let's have the candidates fight it out. Thunderdome, two men(women) enter one man(woman) leaves. That would actually be more civil than the crap we see now.

So here it is - allen apparently puts zero value in "credibility". His goons rough up a protester, and suddenly it's his opponent's fault. Nevermind that webb had nothing to do with any of it.

This, on top of portraying webb as being of low moral character based on passages of his novels, and using crude racial epithets while speaking publicly.

Allen is going to be extra pathetic if he (deservedly) loses the upcoming election. After all, what's the point of selling out your own integrity, and then gain absolutely nothing for it in exchange?

The blogger posed a danger, but you wouldn't know from this biased story.
