    Harry Potter aren't childrens books

Only five books deserve to be on that list, and three of them are part of a trilogy.

Me. I had stated that there were no childrens books on the list, and with Harry potter on the list and most people thinking that HP are childrens books I thought I would clarify.

The question was "What's your favorite book". The question is about what you enjoy reading, not what books do you think are all time paragons in the pantheon of literature.
My favorite movie to watch is Young Frankenstien. I think the finest crafted (best) film is Schindler's List. Similarly my lists of Greatest Literature and Favorite books are not identical.
