There is ONE nugget of truth in there though. A true gem.

"It hurts to make this choice but I am doing what’s best for Alaska"

Can't say as I disagree with this one bit! You tell em, sister.

IMO, she will be much more popular than Rush Limbaugh ever was in his prime....

Paul Begala's commentary on her writing skills is hilarious.

    Love that comparison!

I have a theory, one that hasn't been mentioned yet anywhere. But I don't want to publicize it just yet. I'll tell you if you want to send me an email about it (it's juicy, that's for sure!).

The spin from this article says she's resigning not because of any scandal, but because of all the ethics complaints made against her, most of which have been dismissed, along with all the Freedom of Information Act requests that have been made by the "opposition". She's become too much of a drain on the good state of Alaska.

Riiiiight. So she's going to be a martyr for the good of the state. Even assuming all of the above is true, NO ONE ever resigns for those reasons. A defense fund is marshalled, the charges are fought, and you go forward. Matter of fact, have we forgotten? She already was soliciting a defense fund. Something obviously went awry.

But we'll see what transpires in the next few days. She's already amply demonstrated that McCain picking her out of literally nowhere (he has GOT to feel that was THE WORST thing he ever did in his political life) went straight to her head and fed all the narcissistic tendencies she possesses. She has a complete inability to see herself as others see her, and naively believes wholeheartedly all the adulation the gas passing faction of right wing talk radio blew her way. This just could be some warped strategy to position herself for 2012. No matter what, she can add "Quitter" to her resume forever.

But, where does she rank next to President Bush 43? I’d say slightly lower. Despite Bush’s folksy idioms, there just seems to be more under the hood.

I can tell you how they spin this because I've already witnessed the outrage at the lefties for making poor Sarah Palin have to leave her post. All those darn ethics complaints against her and none ever amounted to anything. They just plain ran her out of office!!!

No. Palin is a moron. Only a moron would hold a high ranking political office such as governor and still discuss personal and very private business in their government email account.

Palin quit 24 hours after well-known DNC blogger, Celtic Diva, finally raised the $5552.64 the governor's office demanded for copies of emails she was requesting per FOIA. Coincidence? I don't think so.

Something very incriminating is contained within those email messages, and Palin knows it. That's why she abruptly stepped down just before a holiday weekend.

Palin should have known better. But she just doesn't have enough smarts.
