    According to the bookies, the favorites to win this year's Nobel Peace Prize are President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono of Indonesia and former President Martti Ahtisaari of Finland.

    After I posted this, I realized that the prize should really go to the Sherman Brothers, for writing the song "It's a Small World."

    Would you believe there's an Australian web site that's taking actual bets? centrebet.com is giving 2-1 odds on Ahtisaari. John Howard is the longest shot they list, at 1001-1.
