Did someone fail to tell Cheney his party lost the election, including both Houses? You know, the ones that approve the funding? Since the Bush Administration has proven they do not know how to run a war, what makes them think they can win a war with the Democrats in Congress? It's this type of stubborn, pig headed crap that makes those of us who want to back Bush run the other way so fast you'd think we were Democrats. Has anyone in their group EVER heard of the word appeasement? Compromise? Much less "congressional oversight?" The party is definitely over for this Administration. Six years of giving the middle finger to Democrats, the Constitution and the rest of the world caught up with them last November. Since they still hold the White House, the ball is in their court to make the first move towards working together and realize that frankly, Congress has got them by the neck and can find any number of ways to dictate policy to them if it comes to that. Continuing business as usual will NOT work, and is as counter-productive as it gets.

Bush came into office hell bent on deposing Hussein. It's undeniable. The Dems were fed what Bush wanted them to here. Ask yourself why Colin Powell is no longer on the Bush team. Because he dared question the evidence. He gave his U.N. talk because he was told to do so, and because he was tired of fighting it. 9/11 was a convenient, patriotic excuse to allow Bush to fulfill his objective and he ought to be ashamed. To blame the Democrats for going along is like calling someone a sucker for falling for a magic trick.

They'll say anything to defend these inept clowns.

It's obvious that you spent the past few months in a coma, since your rhetoric hasn't changed one bit even though everything else HAS. Bush has admitted that he blew it, doesn't know what to do, and is an idiot (well, he SHOWS the idoicy part more than actually verbally fessing up to it). Jonvn is right, he's absolutely the worst president in the history of this country. Even his daddy is disappointed in him (of course, the moron doesn't talk policy with his dad, right? wouldn't want HIS opinion of which way to go). But by all means, continue spouting. It's like peering into some perfectly preserved time capsule! By the way, beau, such anger doesn't suit you. You obviously need to be on the defensive now, since you're position has been exposed as fraud and all...but still you used to be so delightfully sarcastic and witty. Now your just raw and pissed off. SO much fun for a "lib" like myself to see. Still think the Repubs will hold the white house for the next 40 years?

Now that the libs are trying to run congress I listen to sports talk radio.
