I think this borders on some type of abuse by just letting her sit there. She was obviously helpless in some way.

A few months ago a fire truck showed up at my next-door-neighbor's house. I went over to find out if everything was all right with them as they are both in their 70's. The husband said that his wife had fallen down THREE DAYS EARLIER and he could not pick her up. She did not want him to call the fire department because they would take her to the hospital. He just let her lie there for three days before calling the fire department. This made me so angry. I told him that if she fell again or if they needed anything that they needed to come get me or J (kar2oonman) for help. They have come to us before when they needed something and I don't know why they didn't this time.

Anyway....this news story just really ticked me off. This woman needed help and should have gotten it from her so-called boyfriend.

What are you going to do? Having an IQ of 100 means average. That means that lots of people have double digit IQs. Scoop them up and put them in camps? Sterilize them?

The public at large is just not smart, and you see examples on the news and in our daily lives all the time.

He would have called the police, but he didn't want to be a stool pidgeon.

Even persons with disabilities who are wheelchair bound have to be moved around so they don't develop bed sores or circulatory problems. Something is fishy here.

I mean that in a sincere way, not in a snarky way. People like that tend to find each other because no one else would want to be with them.

    Neither am I.

Can a person's body actually fuse to an inanimate object?

If that were the case, the TV remote would have been attached to my hand years ago.

But seriously, prank stories do make it into mainstream news sources from time to time. Maybe this is an early April 1 story?
