A few months ago a fire truck showed up at my next-door-neighbor's house. I went over to find out if everything was all right with them as they are both in their 70's. The husband said that his wife had fallen down THREE DAYS EARLIER and he could not pick her up. She did not want him to call the fire department because they would take her to the hospital. He just let her lie there for three days before calling the fire department. This made me so angry. I told him that if she fell again or if they needed anything that they needed to come get me or J (kar2oonman) for help. They have come to us before when they needed something and I don't know why they didn't this time. Anyway....this news story just really ticked me off. This woman needed help and should have gotten it from her so-called boyfriend.

Even persons with disabilities who are wheelchair bound have to be moved around so they don't develop bed sores or circulatory problems. Something is fishy here.

If that were the case, the TV remote would have been attached to my hand years ago. But seriously, prank stories do make it into mainstream news sources from time to time. Maybe this is an early April 1 story?
