Should the school have outed the girl to her family? Should parents be able to have their children spied on even when they aren't breaking any laws? Should parents be allowed to force their children in these sorts of programs?

I just picture how her family is treating her and what she will go through at her new "school". To me, this is why gay teens commit suicide. My heart just breaks for her and for the other kids who go through this. Thankfully, the school feels that they made a mistake and hopefully won't make it again.
