The woman who made her name as a mass media idol, continues: "My kids don't watch TV. We have televisions but they're not hooked up to anything but movies.

"TV is trash. I was raised without it. We don't have magazines or newspapers in the house either."
    --------------

Considering that she made herself famous by acting like trash, as well as her acting ability, she has some nerve to cry foul!!!

She should show her kids the awful "Body of Evidence" movie. That's trash!!!

"The movie stars Madonna, who after "Bloodhounds of Broadway," "Shanghai Surprise" and "Who's That Girl?" now nails down her title as the queen of movies that were bad ideas right from the beginning. She plays a kinky dominatrix involved in ingenious and hazardous sex with an aging millionaire who has a bad heart. He dies after an evening's entertainment, and Madonna is charged with his murder."

She made her money. Televsion makes money.

    Are you clear?

Sometimes trash makes money. Sometimes it (Madonna) bites back.

If she was as good as most of her fans make her out to be the children’s books she ghost wrote would have flown off the shelves. (The publisher was less than pleases with sales right of the gate.) I mean come on as far as parenting goes she’s running neck and neck with Jacko. But I’ll wager at least he’s changed a diaper!!! But now it appears to be a case of a square peg eyeballing a round hole as the gears are slipping on that tired old jalopy and don’t think she doesn’t know it! When she had to milk old backwoods Britney for a little spotlight time the handwriting was on the wall.

    From www.eonline.com, Sept. 26, 2003:

"Madonna has found something better than Sex.

More than a decade after the enterprising entertainer published a much-panned dissertation on carnal knowledge, she is finding a more receptive audience, and some even better reviews, for her latest, less-salacious tome.

The family-friendly The English Roses, published in 100 countries on September 15, will bow at the top position on the October 5 edition of the New York Times' best-seller list for children's pictures books, her publisher announced Thursday.

It's also moving up the charts at USA Today (number seven on the newspaper's general best-seller list) and Amazon.com (19th among all books on Friday afternoon; number two among the kids' books).

The news is good news for Madonna's U.S. publisher, Callaway Editions, which ran off a whopping 900,000 copies. A total of 1.4 million editions were printed worldwide.<<
