Originally Posted By ecdc I strongly recommend this film. It was on PBS Independent Lens last night and should repeat from time to time this week if you set your TiVos. It's about the failure of the war on drugs and it might be the finest documentary I've ever seen. It may not always have the emotional punch of some documentaries, but it manages to synthesize numerous complex topics that intersect in the war, including race, poverty, crime, capitalism, justice, and social outrage.
