I think a lot of us here are open to legitimate criticisms of the President and have made some ourselves. I'm still more of a fan than, say, mawnck, but I have my issues as well. I think what gets some of us (at least me) so fired up and incensed is when I see the same people who gave Bush a pass on ANYTHING the guy did, now show up and make a federal case out of the tiniest of Obama's gaffes, or even non-issues. Teleprompters? Speaking to school children? Good lord! Then people say, "Oh well you guys went after Bush but I can't complain about Obama!?" That kind of simplistic thinking is killing our country. You're really going to equate criticizing a President for botching a war, letting the people who attacked us get away, privileging the wealthy over the middle class, etc., etc., with a President who uses teleprompters and said the police acted stupidly? One of these things is not like the other.
