Dave, you stealing my lines again? ;-)

Actually I don't call them kids, I call them moppets, but their 'singing' is definitely cringe worthy.

And I'm glad they're debuting a new show. I just hope its more American standards and not the themes from the armed forces that they've done in the past. I just think our country is about a whole lot more than our military (especially when we're involved in a war that never should have happened.)

You have no idea how close you were to a certain Spirit.

Please don't pick on our military, my Navy son was sitting right beside me on that beach.

I enjoyed the show, but I had a couple of mai tais (maybe something else as well) so I was just looking at the 'pretty lights in the sky!'

Never. Please don't take my feelings for our commander in chief to represent my feelings for the military. Nothing could be further from the truth.

I have had Navy relatives as well.

Seriously, when I was a young Spirit I'd pitch a fit about waiting to watch a parade or fireworks when I could be in line for Mansion or Space Mtn or 20,000 Leagues ...

I guess I got old because I'd much rather watch the fireworks, but I think I need to start bringing my own music to the MK to drown out those awful moppets!

Back in '96 when Hunchback came out it premiered here in New Orleans. I left work early and got down to the French Quarter over an hour early to watch the parade, only to be taken over by kids whose mother showed up halfway through the parade and shoved them in front of me.

Also reminds me of when we visited WDW for our first MNSSHP back in '05. My mom and I were seated in the wheelchair area near Liberty Tree to await the parade when, in the middle of the parade, a family without a wheelchair shoved their kids into the front row, with one practically sitting on my mother's lap.
