I wanted some more info on the new attractions. He just seemed to focus on quantity and didn't touch on quality. Did he like Armegedon? I can't tell but it doesn't seem like it.

HOW different is SM Paris compared to FL, CA, or JP? I think it`s fair to say night and day. Hands down better.

Would you say RnRC is night and day different from Florida? Hands down better?

And Dennis, stop that! TDLFAN is not jaded, he`s just, well...critical. Yeah, that`s it, critical! ; )

Maybe you`d better not come out to TDR after all, though, you might get jaded (er, I mean "critical") too after that experience and that would be a shame. I like hearing your enthusiasm, even if it is a bit Pollyanna-ish! : )

Naw, I still enjoy Florida and Disneyland. I just notice the differences in CM`s and cleanliness a lot more than I used to before coming to TDL.

    That's the truth.
Amoung the 9 rides/show, only 2 aree copycat (Catatsrophe Canyon and RRCN... the second being different - and better -for the light show).
    Animation is slightly different too.
And all the others are not à Disney/MG: the stunt show, Disney Channel, Animagique, Cinemagique, Armageddon. You do not find those rides in any other Disney Theme park
So, Jim Hill just don't know what he is talking about!

Disney even gets blamed for traffic problems in area 20 or 30 miles away in East Orlando and Seminole county.

Disney is definitely a mixed bag for the area, but I was more talking about the on-site stuff (eliminating early entry and such). Disney tends to spin and spin until the guests are sure they were BEGGING for no more early entry!

Well-if you talk to one of the Paris Resort's regular visitors, the cm's know nothing about this offer.

I wouldn't be praising it either if I went all the way over to Paris and then found out that this(3 hour entry to DLP)was nothing more than "le false advertising."

So I have come to not always trust what some people say.

I have even from reading various reports from some posters, that if you pay close attention, they were simultianiously in Paris for opening of WDS, in florida for the osft opening of PW, and at TDS, all at the same time.

    What`s PW?

And referring to the 3 hours issue, I believe it was TDLFAN who mentioned having trouble with this. Since he is a close personal friend of someone I know, I tend to believe him. Of course, you could discount my view as well and that would be fine, but anyway I have no trouble believing that the whole situation regarding the 3 hours promotion somehow got messed up in France. I also know some people who have worked there (and some who created the place) and that scenario doesn`t sound far fetched considering some other stories of DLP ineptitude I`ve heard about. Let`s just say they don`t have the "Disney way" down pat just yet.
