Its fun, but thats about it. Don't go expecting good acting or complex storyline. But if your looking for a fun summer popcorn fim its OK.

I won't say I loved it, but I thought it was a great film to take the kids to on a Sat. aftenoon.

    I'll tell ya ..
there were so many places in the film where I said to myself - "Only in the movies".

    Fun summer movie ...
I felt like I was in a Disneyland attraction!

At first I thought only Imax theaters were showing it in 3D .. then I noticed many theaters ARE equipped with 3D.

Arclight in Sherman Oaks .. good place to see it!

I noticed the film was shot in the modest 1.85:1 widescreen ratio. It will transfer fine on 1.33:1 Imax screens.

That movie was so bad the title has stuck with me for over 20 years (I had to look up the spelling though).

It seemed to borrow a bit from Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (mine car chase) with a little Jurassic Park thrown in for good measure all mixed in with a little bit of Verne's original storyline. Personally, I've seen better films, but, there are so many worse films out there, too. C-
