And passing by the road that forks off to the hotels and the TDL entrance, I noticed a line of cars which, at first, I assumed were people on their way OUT...but no. It was a bunch of cars lined up, shut off, and WAITING (with sleeping occupants, I would guess) for the parking lots to open in the MORNING. Wow. Tomorrow is going to be crazy, methinks. In all my years, I've never seen the like save for New Years. And even at New Years, I've never heard of rumors of altercations between belligerent, horrible obnoxious foreign guests and beleaguered cast members. In the past 10 minutes (it's nearly 2am here, by the way) I've received no less than 4 emails from cast member friends, all in shock. This is pretty insane! This one is a first, in my ten years of experience. I assume that doesn't happen at New Years because there are not so many foreign guests pushing and shoving and shouting their way into the parks. Yikes!

Originally Posted By Mr X ***the main protagonist really did make it a challenge and embarrassment to other people in attendance?*** It wasn't just one person. I started a thread over in the NFFC & Orgs section, so I didn't think I needed to talk about it over here anymore. Maybe here is more appropriate though.

There's room for about 100-150 cars at the parking lot entrance between the main road and the gates - I wonder what happens if they stack that area full of cars yet more people keep coming? The park itself was not terribly crowded on Tuesday. It definitely had more people than either Monday or Wednesday, and I've never seen as many Caucasian guests in the park, but overall, it wasn't anywhere near what a crowded day during a peak season is like. I think the rest of the week will have light attendance as well. It's nowhere near the event that DL's 50th was, and the fact that in Japan, April 1st is "back to school" time, being the first day of the new school year, means that few families will be on vacation with kids. Which of course has made it all the more pleasant for those of us attending the anniversary.
