One was all ready opened so I flipped thru! IT WAS BEAUTFUL!! It had a lot of pictures of "The Little Mermaid" on Broadway. Just beautiful!! Lots of other things too but, it's not a library so I wasn't going to stand there for 20 minutes reading. I think it was only $15 & since I couldn't find $35 more, I put it back..oh well!!

It was truely a mental health day for me.

He may because he has over $200 in gift cards at Barnes and Noble and thinks they may not be long for the world. My gut tells me this is way too little, way too late from Disney ... this was something they might have tried in 1999, not in depression-era 2009. There's no doubt in my mind that the fanzine is simply Disney stealing the concept from Tales. I understand that Lee and/or Lindsay aren't going to come out and say so and may even toss out a post disagreeing with me so it at least 'looks good' to the folks who Lee works for/with at TWDC. I don't think it matters because this will not last in its current form even the four years that they supposedly are committed to it. In addition to what appears to be a lesser quality version of Tales (one that apparently will ignore the international resorts because Disney absolutely doesn't want fans to see what can and is done in Japan, France and China) what do you have? 'LE' merchandise? Yay, I am about to lose my job and car, but Disney will sign me up to a 'fan' club that gives me the privilege to purchase an $850 pen. I mean ... what are these people smoking in their pipes? It has to be stronger than pixie dust. Now, they have decided after killing the Disneyana Conventions, because to hear no-credibility whatsoever anymore Marty Sklar tell it they were just about merchandise, they are going to have new conventions that are largely about ... merchandise. It's amazing to me that they just don't get their fans or their products at all anymore. And the same tired people are making the same spin over and over again. They don't care about their fans and they've made that abundantly clear over the past decade. Good luck with this loser. ~28~
