I've seen some other sites where people have put together the track lists to create your own like many people do to recreate the ambient music loops in the parks. I would find it odd that Disney would not release this for sale. Possibly it's because they intend to change the show regularly to reflect the current movie releases since right now it features PoTC4.

At the time, we all laughed at the idea, but there does seem to be some merit to it. If they were to release something, I doubt it would be the full show; I would expect that it would be the main theme from the beginning and end of the show, and perhaps a few of the more memorable moments, like the Pocahontas sequence and April Shower. I'm still hoping that they change some of the segments in the first 15 minutes of the show, that use a lot of audio taken directly from the films, instead of original arangement. Those parts are also the weakest parts of the show visually, IMO, so I would be more than happy to see significant changes to them. On a semi-related note, does anybody know what happened to the Carnival of Color preshow from last summer? The one with the big light-up puppets? They cut the jazz band on the raft before Fantasmic! to make room in the budget for this show, which was only ever performed before the first show of the evening (unlike the band, which played before the first 2, not sure what they did on nights with 3 shows). Given that it lasted for just the summer, it's a real shame that we appear to have lost something else permanently for it.

I can't really comment on FerretAfros' theory, but it's interesting. Personally, I think that someone at WDP&R Merchandise has decided the WoC soundtrack wouldn't sell enough units to make it worth their while, and they can't or won't be persuaded to change their mind - ditto for a new OA.
