I've been sick for the last few weeks, but am feeling a lot better, although not 100%. I'm wondering if that's adding to my woes. Also, things at work are not great and I shutter just getting up in the morning knowing what I have to look forward to during my work day. I'm even not at all interested in going to DL this weekend for the charity walk. It just seems like too much trouble. This is not like me at all.

Anyway - I was just wondering what my LP buddies do to make it all better when you're just not quite yourself?

When I feel this way, I try to do something positive, some kind of exercise, try to make a to do list with really simple things on it so I have the thrill of crossing it off, maybe go outside and breathe some fresh air.

But I must admit, that I'm still in my robe and jammies on the couch, as I type this. So I guess, I'll go get dressed. =0)

Maybe doing the walk this weekend will be just what you need, seeing all the families holding pictures of loved ones that are really sick or have passed away, children in wheel chairs and etc. really makes you grateful for what you have.
And I'll be there sunday , I can see you smiling already !! LOL ((( hugs)))

Not too much though... I've always been really depressed the day after I drink too much. But just enough to mellow you out works pretty well!!

I used to love to walk on the beach in Playa when I moved here from AZ, leaving my boyfriend behind. That was always my favorite thing. Get a little sun, it's so emotionally and physically healing!

Yes, we have our health. And I have a wife who loves me. But man...

    It's kind of overwhelming sometimes.

I really dislike exercising and yard work yet find that it's "mind cleansing" to pull weeds or take a brisk walk. Come in the house, take a shower and get cleaned up and get on with my day.

or maybe some disco music :) Gloria Gayner was just on The View and sang "I'll Survive" :)

*Spend some time in nature (I'll either walk down to the beach or go to a local park or something).
*Been going to Disneyland a LOT. Not just because I have the time and people to go with and it's something to do since my fiance took pity on my bored self and renewed our passes but because it's a good place for taking your mind off things. It doesn't always do the trick but it helps.

Sometimes things just get better but sometimes making a positive change is good. Most important know you have friends and family who love you and will always be there to help. I also think there has been a really nasty cold going around that has lasted weeks i am one of those unfortunate souls who found this out. Make sure you take time for youself to relax and be alone.
