He's definitely right on the money when he nails McCain and company for being a bunch of rank liars.

What else are they lying about?

I sort of feel sorry for the GOP Senators and Congressmen, in that they realize them playing ball with the banking industry by the deregulations they past, caused this problem. But I think they had no clue that by them allowing looser restrictions the banking people would write plainly toxic loans just because they could now bundle and sell them. And that the result of everything would be where we are now. Who woulda thunk that the stoggy guy at the bank who wouldn't give a loan to his mother would start writing them like he was printing money.

X first of I was joking with you. Second that is one man's opinion about McCain. The main reason I'm voting for McCain is that I trust him more on matters of National Security. Not saying that Obama would do a bad job. But I'm a little more comfortable with a former military man running things.

Well, they certainly are closer to their stands than the democrats, for the most part.

Maybe we should just dress up all of our leaders in military regalia, you know, like Fidel Castro.

I'm not asking you about his opinion.

His facts are clear, the McCain platform has been clearly contradicted by the actions of his colleagues this week.

    Do you deny it?

If not, what do you think of it?

    This I really don't get.

He was a pilot, and the bulk of his military "experience" was that of a prisoner an incredibly long time ago.

What does that have to do with running things here and now, and how does that make him any more or less capable than Obama?

Frankly, I'd think pointing to his longer experience as a legislator would be far more compelling, and yet you don't. And neither does the campaign, with its constant rhetoric about his internment decades ago as though that has any bearing on his ability to command the military today.

Plus, he's a liar. That's something the blog proves as a matter of fact (so how can you trust him to run the country?).

And I rather have a Professor in Constitutional Law. Who talks regularly with the top active Generals. Or Obama with Powell as Sec. of State would be OK with me.

He said something a few weeks ago that I'm surprised he wasn't called on, but contrary to what conservatives like to bleat on about, it's McCain who has gotten a pass for several months now on some whoppers.

Anyway, he said "I know how to win wars." It just struck me as a strange thing to say since the only war he was actually in... well, I hate to tell him, but we didn't win.

    <And I rather have a Professor in Constitutional Law.>

    Boy howdy. Me too.

Except that someone with intimate knowledge of constitutional law might have a difficult time condoning torture.
