It sounds like the movie is like the TV show: harmless, nice, but of no real substance. It is a lot better than other stuff tweens could be watching, but its not something I need to see with my 6 and 8 year old children.

    Thanks for the review,

First of all, Doobie got all upset when young Lizzie went off with some Italian guy she'd just met.

Then he laughed when she and that Italian dude were skipping through a beautiful garden with sculptures and waterfalls. He leaned over and asked if this was a young girl's fantasy. My response, yeah, pretty much.

I have to admit the audience was totally wrapped up the film. Oohs and ahs, laughter, it had them. Our theater was full on its opening Friday afternoon with tons of young girls with their friends and their mothers.

First off, what family would let a girl that age go off to Rome with only 1 adult minding the store?

Second, is Hillary afraid to sing without the use of electronic enhancement?

I'm sorry, this movie was just way over the top... even for fiction.

The best part was the young man who walked into the theater with his girlfriend. He had a hooded sweathsirt on, the hood pulled far over his head. But what a nice guy.
