What are some of your favorite "little known things to do" while you are at Disneyland. I can't wait to hear your ideas they make me even more excited for our upcoming trip.

I believe they have performances at 11:00, 12:00, and 1:00, unless of course those times have been changed.

I think a lot of people pass by the opera house which now has the museum of Disneyland artifacts.

The Sword In The Stone Ceremony is fun to watch. (and participate in in you are lucky enough to be selected.)

I like to ask to go up to the wheelhouse of the Mark Twain riverboat and take the helm, toot the horn, and ring the bell.

Riding on the tender right behind the engineer and fireman on the railroad is cool too.

The Flag Retreat ceremony is very patriotic.

There are all kinds of sounds around the park that you might check out. For instance, listen to the dentist at work on Main Street, or the telegraph signal being tapped out at the New Orleans train station (it's part of the Disneyland dedication speech.)

Another overlooked place is the Disney Gallery above Pirates. I don't know what is on display now, but it's _always_ interesting.

Stand in front of Snow White and watch the Evil Queen appear and disappear.

Stand by the Rivers of America and watch the ducks swim around. This is especially fun when there are ducklings around.

Go on the Columbia (if its running) and explore the area under the deck. Cool stuff down there.

My daughter was lucky enough to get the Mickey cookie at the end.

I am definitely going to try the last one on the list (when you get your hand stamped immediately touch your nose with the stamp). My youngest daughter will get a kick out of that one.

When we were done, the firetruck pulled up, & stopped right in front of us. We looked & it had 2 very special passengers. Mickey & Goofy! Since the car just pulled up, there was no one else on line waiting. So we hopped on & each of my girls snuggled up to them & we rode back down Main Street with them.

    It was the best!
