Rather than dismiss the Three Stooges, Rumsfeld, Rove and Rice, he waves goodbye Card and McClellan, two B-List players albeit players who had big titles. Seeing as how he's averse to new blood, Bush could very well become a minority lame duck his last two years. People have had it with him.

Thing is... Bush isn't running STPH and the dems have even lower poll numbers.

But keep dreaming. We heard the exact same fantasy before Kerry ended up losing.

Why not take my DL annual pass bet if you are so sure? For an added bonus, if I lose I will leave the site forever.

You won't take the bet because you know you would be losing $800 bucks and you start these threads because they take no real skill or thought.

We can send the money using paypal, Neteller or Firepay. Sack up man.... bring it on.

Beau, that would be a suckers bet and you know it. Even if people say they don't like Republicans, they still tend to like THEIR Republican. Since incumbents of any party have a far easier time being elected, I would be surprised (though not shocked) if the Democrats actually took control.

I will make one bet with you though Beau… that among contests where there is no incumbent, the Democrats will elect more Senators and Representatives than the Republicans will.

Do you have the guts to take that one on??

The real test will come in 2008 when there is NO incumbent. I think then you will see the level of American's disgust with the present administration. I seriously think even Hillary could run and win that one.

The libs haven't even bothered to look at who is running, they just post things like Bush's poll numbers and think this will get them over the hump.

It actually reminds me of their debating tactics. Lots of noise but nothing to back up their opinions.

Get ready for the voting machine excuse!!

I like your challenge though... I need to look into the matchups regarding how many races have no incumbent?
    :)

He actually could have beat Bush last election if he was the Dem cadidate in 2004.

But noooooooo.... the moonbats had to go with a hard core traitor lib like Kerry as their " war hero ". We could all see it coming, which made the Bush victory in 2004 all the more enjoyable.

I don't think that had much to do with it. I think many (stupidly) thought that Lieberman was too Jewish, too short and not good looking enough to be at the top of the ticket.

The Democrats keep trying to come up with the next John Kennedy. Who knows... maybe looks DO matter. The most successful Republican President of the past fifty years was also the best looking -- Ronald Reagan. The most successful Democrat Presidents of the past fifty years were also the best looking -- Kennedy and Clinton.

Are you enjoying his 32% approval rating too? Some 60%, almost twice as many, disapprove. He's sure doing a bang up job.

Why the personal attacks against me, CCJ? I've never attacked you and if you actually knew me, you'd know that I'm neither arrogant nor vainglorious.

Choice A, anytime. Which is why I would have liked to have seen Schwarzkoff or Powell run.
