Was she right to only give certain kids candy? Not really, but there's nothing you can do to stop her. It's certainly a lot less offensive than hanging effigies all over the place. While Halloween is celebrated by handing out candy, I don't think that folks should get upset when somebody doesn't want to spend their hard earned money. I find it absurd that they are upset that they aren't receiving gifts (however small) from somebody. It's a woman's money and a woman's choice. : )
