    When ya can get through (its never the 2 min wait they promise..)they can be super helpful and can solve most issues (or atleast point us to the right direction to get the answers)

    There is an IT department at TDA. Cast Members can call them for help with issues and they will occasionally come out to the areas as well. Our IT team for Main Entrance was awesome, although I know many of them have left now.

    Is IBM on-site? They are notorious for offshoring everything they can. Of course you do need some people physically onsite. Still, I wouldn't be terribly suprised if IBM had DLR servers physically located in India.

    Yes, they are. I have a friend who works for IBM Global Services and he was almost assigned to Disneyland, but eneded up elsewhere.

Which is why when we have a problem that can not be fixed immediately from over there, they will contact the smaller IS department in CA who will either return our call and fix it over the phone or actually come out to the area.

    Disneyland.com has its own guy. I meet him a short time ago.

    Most of the IT people I know would not spend much time on a message board. They want to know what the problem is and then fix it or pass it along to someone they know who can fix it for them.
