Here are the parameters: two adults, two toddlers (at the time of the trip they'll be 3.5 and 2 yrs old).

They don't plan on paying Disney rates on this trip, and no one will have an AP. (Because of the police/fire special we can get 3 day park hoppers for $56, so the AP just isn't worth it.)

Close is very good, a would breakfast would be nice, as would a fridge, but the last two aren't vital. They aren't picky as far as fancy goes, motel 6/Super 8 are fine if the rates are low enough to then pay for b'fast.

I know that Best Western PPI is right across the street. What other hotels are w/in Toddler walking distance? Can anyone find the link for the map w/the hotel names on it? Thanks in advance guys!

Usually one of the cheapest hotels that close to the park. www.parkvue.com We have stayed there 3 times without problems. And we watched the fireworks from their outdoor breakfast balcony area....the view is GREAT!!!!

It was a good place to sleep. We were pleased and so was our budget.

Super 8 (415 W Katella) is close, and has coffee/tea/cocoa, juice, toast/pastries/donuts for breakfast. I don't know when your brother's going to be here, but I've gotten rates as low as $49 a night (just this last week). A fridge can be had for an extra $5 a night (from what I've been told). I just keep a small cooler in the room, stock it with ice to keep water cold. And Goober PB&J is great..no fridge needed. :) I also brought bagels, pop tarts, and granola bars for the room.

I have no complaints, but Shiva had to deal with a busted water heater for 4 days. But that could happen anywhere! :)

I have also stayed at BWPPI and am torn between these two hotels for our next trip although breakfast at the BWPPI is not that great. BWPPI has fridges, but I'm not sure about CCI. Let us know where they decided to stay?

We have stayed at the Candy Cane Inn and really like it, right next to 7-11 and we find the walk not a problem. It has the fridge and one of the largest Cont. buffet breakfasts I have ever seen. I want to say it is around 100. a night.

The hotel is close enough to go back to the room for the kids to have a nap if necessary. In my opinion, the Super 8 is too far away for a toddler to walk.

They offer a continental breakfast which is very nice - toast, waffles, muffins, fruit, cereal, juice, tea & coffee.

Fridge, coffee maker and microwave in the room.

The website is www.parkvueinn.com and you can check the rates on the site. I have stayed at Park Vue the last 10 times I have been to Disneyland and never had a problem.

The staff is friendly and helpful too. I'm bringing a group of 60 this summer and we've already booked it, my favorite non-resort hotel at Disneyland.
