Shouldn't he have to prove there was something actually dangerous in the burger before arresting someone? I also wonder how many people are going to try to sue fast food restaurants for over-seasoned food.
Originally Posted By jonvn "I wonder how much salt there would have to be on the burger to cause someone to have to go to the hospital?" Actually, it doesn't have to be that much. Salt can make you vomit pretty easily. Here's an experiment for you: Take a glass of tap water, dump in about 5 tablespoons of salt in it. Drink it. Do this by a bathroom. You'll quickly see why. The thing is if you eat something and you instantly get sick from it, you really should go to the hospital, lord only knows what sort of thing some sicko may have put on it.

I'm not saying that the cop didn't get sick and wasn't rightfully upset. I just think he went way overboard by arresting anybody for it. It just makes me question his attitude and perception about other things in his life.
