That's true. The bathrooms will be placed across the way, but what isn't known is what the stylings of the new bathrooms will be... the area where the old restrooms were and the new bathrooms will go will not be San Francisco anymore. That's right, with the exception of the Palace structure there will not be anymore San Francisco architecture. How can that be?<< A bit surprising, but still a very interesting aticle to read....

I didn't see anything in the NYT article, but in the Oct. 18th Hollywood reporter piece this was included: "Disney CEO Robert Iger and parks and resorts chairman Jay Rasulo, speaking with reporters at the Imagineering building in Glendale, unveiled their five-year plan for California Adventure and said that by the time they're finished it might sport a new name."

The first phase is just the beginning

So I would assume this means that the California theme is not going away.

There are no boats in that area. Even a dingy or row boat tied to the dock would make it more believable. Perhaps a tug boat over near the bridge? Too late now I guess. We'll have to wait for the second part of the Makeover to see what they're going to do with it. Or will we? Hmmm.
