    I was at Borders today and found this in the TV and Media section. It retails for about $40, and according to Amazon.com, it was released on September 1st. It's been about 8 years since the last edition, and I think it's great that these Disney books are being released. Now if we could some new editions from Canemaker and Grant.

    Yeah, I got to browse it a bit. Lots of updates, even some info on some 2006 releases. Unfortunately, I wasn't allowed to keep it on my desk for long--it seems that bookstore employees are expected to sell books, not just read them. ;-)

    BTW, John Grant has a new title out this month called "Animated Movies: Facts, Figures & Fun."

    Would that be the Disney Dossier? For all the aussies, both the A to Z, and the Disney Dossier are available at King Comics on Pitt Street in Sydney.

    What *is* "Disney Dossier"? Is it a serious adult book (reading level, not naughtiness), like with history and in-depth analyzations of the characters, or is it more of a fluff piece where the pieces are written "from" the characters themselves?

    I'm actually wondering that myself TDG, the copies in the store I saw it in were all sealed. It's not hardback, but it is still a very nice looking book, If I were to Judge a book by it's cover, I would say it was more of a serious fan book.

    Boy, talk about a thankless job - with all the changes that happen at Disney, can you imagine how much of a chore it is to keep this thing up to date?!?
