That said, I would rather drive to Anaheim and go to DCA that go to either of the two parks in Nor Cal! I am always amazed that my kids (ages 13 and 16) LOVE this park. I am sure as this park continues to evolve and grow, they will love this park even more and they will hold it near and dear to their hearts much like I do Disneyland.

My favorite section is Hollywood, with Millionare, Animation, Alladin, Muppets, etc. She has also discovered the single rider lines and will sometimes use them (when Nana doesn't want to get drenched 8 times on Grizzly Rapids). It is always calmer and more relaxing than Disneyland.

I did and have loved the place since my first visit, I love it mostly for different reasons than I love Disneyland. It honors the greatest State in the Nation in a variety ways. As far a Walt not approving, I believe that that could be said of every aspect of his entire company including Disneyland these days, DCA is the least of the travesties that current management (Eisner) has foisted upon us. Of late I frequently go to DCA first before Disneyland, I love the place but truth be told it's mainly for "Soarin" the coolest ride ever.
