Nausicaä (possible spoilers)

    Anyway, I'm confused about Nausicaä's dress changing color. It's red when the Pejites give it to her, but then it changes to blue. I understand that it needed to be blue in order to fulfill the prophecy, but why have it change?

    And why have it change when it did? It would have made some sense if it had changed color when the ohmu revived her, but it happened earlier than that. I went back and watched, and it suddenly changed while she was trying to keep the baby ohmu from going into the acid lake.

    Also, is there any particular symbolism to the color blue? Do blue clothes have some special meaning in Japanese culture?
