I'm glad I got plenty of visits when it was Knott's Berry Tales. As most people know .. it was a former imagineer who created Berry Tales. It had such a charm to it. Between the three rides that have been in this location ... Berry Tales is my ride. At least in memory.

I loved that ride. They really don't make 'em like that anymore. I really miss it.

I agree. We recently rode Transformers at USH though, and it is about the best I've seen of being a good balance between screens and practical sets. Truly a wild ride!

And, while I also have a sentimental soft spot for 'Knott's Beary Tales' -- this is really well done and adds a nice, fun, different experience for Knott's.

    Well done!

They must have shown it a lot in So Cal because I remember every shot and every note of the song.

    Anyone else?

    I remember that, Jim.

But the one I remember much better is the one with the Harold Hill-like character extolling the wonders of the then-new Roarin' 20's area (so also around 1975): the tag line was "There's a whole new park goin' on!"

Yep, I do, too, because that was the first time Knott's ran commercials in northern California that I know of. And seeing the Corkscrew coaster was incredible at the time. It was a big deal.

I didn't watch the ride video because I don't want to spoil it...I plan to take the family back soon. That said, let me ask this so I am prepared. Are there any REAL objects in the ride or is it all 3D screens?

Well...I guess it's better an empty building. KBT and KOD were gone long before my kids came along so they will not be making comparisons. Me, on the other hand...
