We're soooo excited about this trip!! The land part is on our own since we've stayed in a perfect place there before & plan to do it again (non-Disney) ***please, no yelling at me about that part!***

So it looks like the Cat 3 suites just might have jetted (whirl pool) tubs after all.....but I won't know for sure until I see it for myself!!

Now we need to get the flight reservation numbers so we can pick our seats!!! I emailed about that & haven't heard yet. They are taking about 4 days with each question!!

In fact, we booked another cruise, while on board, to the Eastern Caribbean. We were in catagory 6, with a verandah and it was lovely! I also ordered lots of goodies for our room so it was all decorated when we walked in. PLUS...a gal I work with, surprised us with more decorations and another cake. So we had goodies to eat and decorations and it was like Christmas! On our next cruise, were getting the exact same room! So have fun and be sure to tell us all about it!! Question for you...are you doing DW before the cruise or after? Just watch out for "sea legs"....that's why were doing DW first...then the cruise...it will be tough as the food is plenty on the cruise, and walking around the park afterward would be a lot better for me...but it took me about 2 weeks to walk without holding on to something! ha..ha..Sometimes I felt like I was going to fall over...ha..ha..anyway...enjoy!!! ºoº

I always recommend, go to DLR or WDW before the cruise, versus after, so you don't feel cheated if you can't walk...

    >>2 weeks<<
wow, that's a long time; I got over mine in a couple of days, but my cruise (non-disney) was only for four days.

Is there anything that can be done to lessen the impact of sea legs?

We'll be doing WDW after... I may avoid Mission Space or Rockin' Roller Coaster the first day on land.....

I have so many little things planned & done already.... I bought my prince a tux for Valentines Day & a Mickey tux vest & bow tie... I bought myself a black gown with black satin trim that has some sequin on it... I added a few rhinestone Mickeys to it....

We have several Disney "resort wear" things that match......for the other dinners.

On Nassau I think we're going on a helicopter tour!! We did that on Hawaii & I loved it!!

Today we got our confirmation numbers for the airline... so we picked our seats on the planes...they had us in the VERY back!! It's a long flight & I will want to get off pretty quick....

Thanks for all the well wishes!!

I'd love to hear all about your cruises.

I love Castaway Cay, everytime I go I always reserve a spot with the spa to have a full body massage at Serenity Bay (adult beach area) in one of their open air cabana's. Afterward relax with a drink and your day is complete. The wine tasting class on board ship is fun. My mother-in-law loves the bingo sessions and I just love relaxing on our cabin balcony. One piece of advise on when you board ship....most of the time your stateroom is not ready by the time you board so don't have alot of carry-on luggage or you will be dragging it all over the ship with you. Since you have suite it might be different, don't know. The welcome aboard buffet is good so take advantage of it when you arrive. If you want pictures of the ship without alot of people around in the shots it is best to take them late at night.
Have a GREAT cruise I am green with jealousy!!!!!

Not to my knowledge. I spent 2 summers on floating fish prosessor(sp?). Getting my land legs back was fun. What I found that worked, stay with me here no laughing, was in the morning and evening standing on one leg. It is an exercise that I used to improve my balance when I was doing full contact martial sports.

    Hope this works for you.

Will she or won't she....she pulled through with flying colors, I even got her over her fear of heights by booking a verandah cabin. Once she went out a couple times...very leary...I couldn't get her to come inside she liked it so much.
    PS...I'm still green with envy...lol

Does anyone know how they pick "table-mates"??? I think the idea is neat...someone to tell about your day & hear from them all the things you wished you'd thought of!

Turns out all of us Ladies are divorced and by the time the cruise was over, we were exchanging email addresses. We got along great! And...one of the gals brought a deck of cards so after the dinner's were over, the kids, including mine...ha..ha..were playing cards. It was a great fit, however it came about. I was kinda worried about who we would be seated with...but it was all our first cruise with DCL and it was perfect! Were sailing again in May, 2007 and hopefully this will happen again! ºoº

Plus we looked forward to seeing everyone and hearing how there trip was going. The gals that we met were from New Jersey and North Carolina...and we live in Northern California. Guess you could call it "Disney Magic" at its best huh? :)

We also had great tablemates. A family from Wales! They were so interesting to talk with. we got along fabulously! I don't know how DCL matches tablemates, but I agree with MsLindanne, magic at its best indeed, they do a great job! :)
Have an awesome time and don't forget a trip report!
