The rumblings have said around 2012 for a while, and this would be the time to really get the planning worked out if they are aiming for that date. By the time they get everything planned (it would probably take at least a year for that) and built (1-2 years depending on type of work and possible delays), which means it could open around the same time as Carsland (terrible name) to help balance out the crowds.

You had the PeopleMover going along and set in the background were the Rocket Jets high above Tomorrowland atop the PeopleMover Load area. Now everything is blocked by the Astro Orbitor and everthing is blocked. Nothing futeristic to draw you in, again my humble opinion.

The only way to relocate it to it’s original location would require rebuilding the entire center core of Tomorrowland from the ground up. I doubt that would happen, at least for now. Maybe after the economy recovers.
