So they didn't want to start school in early Sept., immediately have a day off for Labor Day, and then immediately have yet another day off for Admission Day. Is Admission Day still a state holiday? Are schools in session? I have no idea how it works now, but I do know that in the 60's and 70's, public schools could never start earlier than Sept. 10.

My college starts BEFORE Labor Day, but we're our own thing. *LOL* Keeping just two school schedules straight is an exercise. Between the three of us at this house, we're on three calendars... For Some idea of crowds, check the Disneyland website, MouseWait calendar, and whatever that other crowd estimate program is... it'll give you a little better idea.
