Even famous televangelists can be pervs. If that is the worst thing anyone can come up with on Disney that is pretty darned good!

trust me - we get our share of press to - it is the scum at some papers - anything that sells --

a number of years ago the headlines in Chicago screamed -- IBM Executive murdered with prostitute. In a city of 7 million you would think this might not be a headline -- and btw - the executive turned out to be a 3 year low level administrative employee ( not that it makes it any less an issue but it makes the headline a load of crapola ) --

IBM not in the bright lights like Disney - but still when a newswriter ( and I use that term loosely) - get's a bug up their butt to try and sell papers - they will call out anyone recognizable

Most of the pervy scandals seem to involve televangelists - Jim Bakker, Ted "I'm not gay" Haggart, Jimmy Swaggart. If they aren't perverts, they're saying God's going to call them to heaven unless people give them money.

In the end, scandal sells papers and gets ratings - look at the whole Anna Nicole Smith debacle. The person who's going to suffer the most from that whole ordeal is that poor little baby, who didn't ask for any of this.

did they say they had priors ? If not hard to take a shot at Disney and say they didn't do background checks.

the issue is finding 60,000 service employees in or around Orlando - just not a large enough base to draw from. It would be hard to find 60,000 in NY - LA or Chicago with populations 7 - 10 times the size.

Also, some people can steal identities, change names, etc. If a child preadator wants to work with children, he'll find a way. The screening systems aren't perfect.
