They're missing the Astro Orbitor Aug 12-25, and the Wildlife Express Train is closed the 26th of this month.

Spread the word so no one is at WDW in August wondering why the rockets don't spin.

I am grateful for it considering the mess with DL's sister-version.

It's an easy skip ride, but whenever I do it, I realize it was so worth it. The view is great, and it is fantastic at night. And even though Dumbo and the Carpets of Aladdin are similar, I think Astro Orbitor is the best. It takes you to a different place while the other two are just grounded in their respective lands.
That said, I don't go on it everytime, so I wouldn't miss it if it were down for refurb.

Count me in that number as well, Spirit. I did it once during EMH (back when it was E-Ride Nights) and once was more than enough.

I agree wholeheartedly. I would never wait more then one elevator load interval, but it is definitely the best Dumbo ride. I like it's current look quite a bit, in fact, I think the entire Rocket Tower is extremely well done. Sure, it could be plussed a bit, but it is near the bottom of the list of rides that need any real overhaul.

I have no idea why it affected me the way it did ... no other Disney attraction (from Space Mtn at DLP to Mission Space at Epcot to ToT at MGM etc ...) has ever made me feel truly ill.

Maybe it's the combo of spinning in circles at such a height. I dunno. But that one time in 1995 was it.
