My questions: Has the show changed at all over the years? Is there a big difference between this show and the one that was at DL? Didn't the show begin (oddly enough) with "Be Our Guest?"

My one-year old daughter LOVED the show, by the way. She was absolutley thrilled, until "Kill the Beast."

And I say "Disney geeks" with the greatest possible love and respect. :)

The DL version closed a long time ago and the WDW version did change at some point...I want to say in the late '90s or early '00s...anyone else know exactly? The updated show follows the storyline of the film more closely.

ORWEN: It used to open with the 'Be Our Guest Number', which never made any sense to us. I mean, really! Should you start at the beginning when telling a story?

ORDDU: So, that's the most significant change it made--starting with Belle and the villagers doing their musical numbers FIRST! Then Gaston comes along and tries to get Belle to marry him, while forgetting all about the gorgeous witch sitting in the audience just DYING to be part of his harem--

ORWEN: --but that's another story for another time. The main thing is that you were right about BEAUTY & THE BEAST having gone through the change.

ORGOCH: Yeah an' now it appears ta me I got a couple a looney sisters that act like they's STILL goin' through 'the change'!!!
