I rode it for the first time at 14 and was in ahhhhhhhh. We waited in a long line and had to surrender a ticket to see it. And that eyeball at the end. Good times.
Then I got to take my kids. They were young enough to think they were really shrinking. My oldest still talks about it and cried when she heard the line in *Believe*. My youngest was post Inner Space and too short for Star Tours on his first trip. He has never gotten over that resentment.

You weren't the only one! I remember hearing a story about a really upset mother who created a ruckus with a CM. She thought something was wrong with her son because he didn't wave when he was going through the shrinking tube.

I think they mean Remember... The line, "Are we actually shrinking?" or whatever it is, is in the Tomorrowland segment.

I think it was taken out before he was old enough to realize that it didn't actually shrink guests. :(

And the line in "Remember" ends with "Magnification-cation-cation."

I dug the hour-glass-shaped "dripping string" thing at the end, too.

    I loved that ride.

Yes, I did mean *Remember*. (I'm too old.)
Anyway, during the fireworks just before the Star Tours segment you hear, "Magnification, can I possibly survive?"
