StudiosCentral.org is reporting Fantasmic! will start running nightly on July 6th through at least September 30th. As one of the major attractions of Hollywood Studios this is a great change as opposed to having to plan your schedule around the nights the show was running as had been the case.

But I think this change will make things much easier for people during the summer, that's good!

Oh, yes, it seems to have created only problems and bad feelings to cut Fantasmic. Even though I am not interested in seeing it, they should have never cut it!

I think last summer they routinely added second showing. Perhaps it might be better for the show to not run it twice three nights of the week, but once for every night. It would only be one show more, but more time inbetween shows for maintenance. Well, I guess that might be an overly optimistic thought...

    Same here. Exactly.

Every park needs a huge finale to finish off the night... even if this one leaves me hanging.

Though, I do enjoy the ending battle and the "Mickey On The Mountain" finale.... but it's not worth waiting a hour in the Florida Backwoods for, and then sitting through another 20 mins of fluff in a concrete arena.

And is part of the reason why I remain frustrated towards WDW Management and its poor decision making. I guess what also added salt to the wound was the cancelation happened around the same time this American Idol Experience opened. Even if DHS does have the weaker out of the three Fantasmic shows. I would choose this over some reality singing contest attraction any day of the week.

I really had not thought of it in this way. But could more Fantasmic shows result in there being more cutbacks to the show. And could more shows actually scale the presentation of the show. This is after all a Resort that doesn't like to spend money. So the money for running nightly shows must be coming from somewhere within the budget. And whats brought on the sudden return of the show to nightly performances. Have WDW Management seen the latest attendance figures from the ETA Report and realise that Animal Kingdom despite opening fewer hours and having no events like Star Wars Weekends still showed a higher number of daily visitors to the Studios.

Not suprised and also it appears that the Muppet 3D Show is need of maintenance.

Wow really you have to question where all the money and time has gone if this is the case.

*** why do most people put up with it? ***

Mostly because these people are uneducated about what a real Disney experience is all about. And the few that do realise it also mainly except it.

That, and of course, assume that guests are animals and put a LOT of wear and tear on things...

But the behaviour of the Guests at WDW is a serious issue and one of the reasons I'm in no rush to get back out to Orlando anytime soon.

He has a point, though. Totally ridiculous that they can run a good looking show every night, and we couldn't even run a broken down wreck for a while.
