My daughter is a finnicky eater and won't eat anything she considers unhealthful, so she vetoes places like McDonalds, but is ok with certain fast foods like SubWay.

You also have the Garden Walk now... They have quite a few restaurants - PF Changs, CheeseCake Factory, California Pizza Kitchen - are a few I can remember...

It does have a long wait on weekends tho. I highly recommend this place to anyone and it's only about a 5 minute drive from Disneyland. If coming from Disneyland, go up Harbor to Ball and turn left, make another left on St. College and Luigis is up on the left side just a little bit down the road.

You only have to make one right turn onto Garden Grove and it's a little ways down on the left side. The food there is awesome and the staff is so nice. You order food at the counter and bring it to your table, so you save $$$$ on tipping. The only problem I ever had there was with parking, but thankfully, they bought a lot next door and added parking, so now it's perfect!

Their website has their exact address.

DH loves it so much, we actually ate there FOUR TIMES on our last visit!

Mimi's is a great restaurant with reasonable prices..Every time I go to Disneyland, I must stop in at Mimi's and get the corn chowder. It is GREAT!

I REALLY have to try that Mexican place - have been hearing about it for years!

We like Mimi's, and it's so convenient to HoJos! :) We also find the Garden Walk walkable from HoJos and DLR. We enjoyed Joe's Crab Shack when we were staying at Embassy Suites. It's south on Harbor.

Buca di Beppo and Mimi's both get top marks in our books. YUM and sooooo cheap :)

Also we have to go to In N Out at least twice while we are there.

We hardly ever eat supper in the resort, just too many better options outside that are so much cheaper and tastier :)

In Huntington Beach, off the main drag from the beach is Wahoo's Fish Tacos. We usually go there on the day we drive over to visit the ocean and say hi, then we go up the street to Wahoo's and get fish tacos. For those who would wrinkle their nose at the thought of fish tacos, let me tell you these are delish. Fresh dorado from the Sea of Cortez, light, white, fresh tasting, on white corn tortillas, not fried but grilled fish, cabbage and lime. drooolllliiinnnnggg here. Unfortunately, it is not too close, but is accessable from Harbor, but I could not tell you how to get there. I just know from many trips, I just don't know the street names. About 30 mins away.
