Just have proper expectations. It's a throwback to a different time when a tourist attraction was on a much smaller scale and with that in mind, it was a lot of fun. I'm glad I went. But it's definitely a roadside attraction. Doobie.

I am planning our next vacation, didn't really want to go back to Florida, I live in northern CA., but the Mermaid Park looked neat. I love mermaids but wasn't sure if Weeki Wachee was worth going that far for. I would do other things in Florida, but we went to DW the last 3 years. Ready to do something different.
