Just thought I'd pass this along for anyone who has the AP rate booked. It doesn't work for all nights but might be worth a look :) With ours it seemed that the "savings" was that the Fall Getaway offer didn't bump up the weekend rate but the AP rate did.

<<<<knows we can "save" a bunch of money by staying off site, this isn't what the post is about :) Just thought I'd throw that in ahead of time so the original post doesn't get lost in the "why would anyone pay Disney prices" usual yada ;)

A poster on another website wrote that it didn't make a difference in their rates. I really think ours changed because of the weekend rates.

He called the DLR hotels reservation line.

thanks for the news. since my call followed your last call(right after the ap rates came out), i was going to follow in line for this discount, too.
but, i will take your word for it that it would not be a better rate.
you know, they make note on your ressie every time you call in to inquire or make a request regarding the ressie. i probably have a list under my name a mile long. glad, this will be one less entry after my name. lol!!!

    I love looking for a better "deal", it's a sickness I know ;)

In my case we have more weekdays at the hotel than weekend days so that may be why the AP rate came in cheaper for us.
