As far as the name I think why change it, I have always been one for keeping things the way they are but do realize things need to be changed but lets not change the original name, I just think it would take away from the Walt side of he park, and wouldnt add much to the land it self.

They could do a show that bests T2:3D from Universal.

However, I'd like to see Lucas stuff go into a third park instead, including the next Star Tours.

Having to wear 3-D glasses is a pain, and doesn't work well for everyone. Besides, if you are sitting in a Starspeeder with the "cockpit shield" opened, you aren't going to see 3-D things floating in front of you--you are going to see a flat cockpit window in front of you. A thrilling story, improved motion and in-cabin effects, maybe even, dare I say it, some random elements/variety, and you have a winner without the gimmicky 3-D nonsense.

Star Trader, Starcade, Imagination Institute (Magic Eye Theatre), RRPP, and Cosmic Ball all should be entirely razed. Innoventions should be gutted. All that should be developed into at least 2 totally new Attractions with no cartoon characters, and a new eatery that is big, fast, fresh and good.

PeopleMover should come back or be removed. If removed, a re-done Rocket Jets/Astro Orbiter should be repositioned into the center of Tomrrowland, but on the lower, PeopleMover level of the center structure.

If restored, the PeopleMover track should be lengthend and reconfigured to add a station in the Small World Mall area, making for a real transportation option or a leisurely Attraction--you pick!

Sigh. There is simply too much to do. I have no hope.

It was really exciting to ride 'Star Tours' for the first time -- to take flight through that section of the Death Star, just like in the movie. It was thrilling.

To re-create some of those famous locations from the 'Star Wars' movies[think of the Endor forest at Disney-MGM], or the Mos Eisley spaceport, a restaurant like the bar in the original movie -- with sound effects and lots of droids and creatures milling about. And instead of Mickey wearing a Luke Skywalker costume, have a face character Jedi or a rubber-headed Greedo walking around.

    It could be cool.

would tie in great.. no to 3-d star tours however i do like the different destinations combinations just to make each ride different.

take out the people mover tracks and planters completely as their a waste of space and rip out (innoventions/america sings completely ) focus on a another e-ticket ride there..who cares if its right next to space mountain! or that can be the right place for alien encounter..
(or at least some sort of dark ride on the inside of it)

It would be akin to turning Frontierland into Davy Crocket-land. After all, that TV series was immensely popular in the 50s.

Stars Wars will continue to have a popular spot in our entertainment culture, but I wouldn't want to hitch Tomorrowland's star for the next decade or more to a film that has already seen it's peak period of interest.

I agree with monorailblue that they should either bring back the people mover or take it out.

I am not really a fan of Honey I Shrunk the Audience. I don't know it has just never been very Disney or magical to me. I think they should take it out.

It used to be cooler when it was a Space Mountain complex. The entrance made sense. And then the Space Stage, the Starcade, and the fast food location, it was all cohesive, even themed.

Check out this picture of Space Mountain, back in the day...

In regards to Star Tours, I have always advocated since it's billed as having multiple tours, that perhaps they should have several films (I know expense, however it would add greatly to the replay), they could run 2 simulators on one film, and 2 on another, or perhaps change films based on time of day, as well with todays technology they could also take 1 main film but add a few variations to the story line (sometimes you'll go left, other times right), kind of like in Indy.

I wish Disney could somehow gain the rights to Lucas Ltd and fully intergrate it into its portfolio of properties. I would LOVE for Lucas to completely redo Tomorrowland including re-theming of Space Mountain (sorry, I'm not impressed with the revised version)

Leave Buzz lightyear alone, its good for the little ones, Leave Space Mountain, but re-theme it, and gut the rest of Tomorrowland.

How about instead of Autopia, you make it an "Speeder" simulator with the speeder bikes from Return of the Jedi? Complete with gian AT-AT's and AT-ST's???

How about turning Mission to Mars into Mission to the Death Star?

How about using the old Peoplemover into a coveyor-belt ride that mimics the conveyer belt scene from Attack of the Clones, complete with big buckets of molton iron and droids buzzing around?

....yeah, it would be cool !

And I think the Space Mountain idea is ill advised. The reason Space is so popular, in my view, is because of its very simplicity--you whoosh through the empty vastness of space. That's it! End of story! Fabulous! See also: Matterhorn.
