We accomplished this for almost 10 years. Friday evening, the server took a turn for the worst. The sql software decided to die and I was unable to fix it. For the past six months, both Jennifer and I have been buried with life demands and that hasn't left us much time to devote to MouseInfo. Financially, it is costing us more than 5 thousand dollars a year just to have a server that can meet the demands for all the users visiting. Advertising revenue only cover a quarter percentage of our costs. So it is with deep regret that I have to announce that MouseInfo has been closed. We would like to thank all of the dedicated members and moderators. It is what YOU brought to MouseInfo that kept us open for all these years. I would like to invite all of you to visit the MySpace MouseInfo page for you to find your friends. We will miss you all! Michael & Jennifer

Still, it is surprising how quickly that website shut down and disappeared. I would have thought one or two other Disney websites (that will go un-named) would have gone first before Mouseinfo.

Originally Posted By jonvn "I wish you would tell me then, because I forgot where I read it." Probably on Fab's board, because that was said there. I was in charge of the world events board, and there was nothing secret about it. You had to actually PM me a message at first to get on it (it was a separate subscription) and I had to approve it. I also wrote stickys in that forum telling people what their behavior had to be like in order to stay. So, unless you were about as dense as you could be, you probably could figure it out since I was flat out the only one running that section of the board.

Some fun threads were had over there. Although, again, I really stopped posting there regularly this past Fall for whatever reason. Only so many hours in the day. I wonder if Marcie will show up on another site? Although she had sort of fallen off the radar a year ago, with both her articles and her posting, and didn't offer much information for most of calendar year 2007. Still, she was so adamantly the "Anti-Al" for a few years there during the 50th era that her personality continued on even when her posts did not.
