I am just curious how much outside food is allowed or too much according to Disneyland?

I had told my daughter this but she misunderstood and took a loaf of bread and sandwich makings. She was told to go to the picnic area and make the sandwiches or rent a locker. We were in a hurry so they got a locker for $16! ! !YIKES. So if you take in food make sure that it is already prepared. Also, if you have any special dietary needs like diabetes or dialysis they HAVE to let you take in your own food.

We did see a guy be told no glass too - it was funny watching him eat 4 pickles on his way to the gates!

I have been told by people who seem to know what they are talking about that prepared food is okay. (One time we had bags of leftovers from Bocca's.) Last time we went in with sandwiches the CM even looked closely and said, "They are already made, okay then." In my daughter's case she had jars of peanut butter and jelly so I think they thought that was too much. Another line, another CM and they might have made it through. I would not hesitate to pull the *special diet* card as I do not eat park food. And I have to have a quick fix in case I get hypoglycemic.

Originally Posted By Mrs ElderP Let me add that I really enjoyed eating our picnic lunch in "The Court of Angels". It was lovely, peaceful, and close to the French Market for ice water refills. They have 2 benches in there, one of which is shaded at lunch time, one of which is not. The steps leading up to the cast only area (and the original entrance to "Walt's Apartment") are also partially shaded. We made sure we cleaned up after ourselved.
