You don't have to suffer with DL's food any longer.

There's absolutely nothing wrong with the food inside DL (or DCA, for that matter!). Sure, it's pricy - it's always been that way. I don't expect McDonald's prices. But what I get in return is great food in a totally unique setting. Works great for me!

You CAN find tasty food though. Overpriced yes, though not by theme park standards.

I'd be happy to try some of yours, though!

This next trip we will go to the Garden Walk and check to see what they have to offer. DLR is missing out on big $ from lots of people who are fed up with junk to eat when it is not necessary-it's obvious that it is not a priority with management to serve good consistent food.

But it certainly seems above par for theme park food. At any rate, it's well worth it to me to spend a bit more to not have to leave the park and fight the crowds at McDonalds or Mimi's, or put my life in the hands of Captain Kidd's, And I've never had an objection to the burgers at the grill in DCA. It's nice being able to have a huge condiment bar where I can load up with everything from holopinos to bbq sauce.

Trust me when I tell you that I am not even remotely a picky eater, but I found that sandwich inedible. It was filled with fat and gristle and was almost completely tasteless. So I took it back and got the turkey sandwich instead. That was also tasteless and rather dry, but at least it didn't have all the nasty by product parts in it. My friend ordered some sort of barbeque (a sandwich, probably, although I don't recall for certain), and it was also very subpar. And these were not cheap items. I think their sandwich plates are around $14 or so. Gotta say, based on the three items we had, I would be very reluctant to give them another try. On a more positive note, I don't think I've ever had anything that wasn't extremely tasty at the Plaza Inn. The chicken dinner is my personal favorite, but I also love the cobb salad, the pot roast, and several desserts I've had there.
